01What we collect

Better Birdies does not sell products and never takes payment, so there is no order, address or card data to collect in the first place. What we do collect:

• Email address — only if you sign up for the Pin Sheet, our email list, or create an account.
• Contact form messages — the name, email and message you choose to send us, so we can reply.
• Affiliate clicks — when you click a “Buy on Amazon” link, Amazon may set its own cookie to credit us a commission if you buy. That is set by Amazon, not us, and costs you nothing.

02How we use it

• To answer your support messages (a real person reads them).
• To send the Pin Sheet — one email a week, only if you opted in, with a working unsubscribe link in every send.
• To forward Pin Sheet signups to our email service so we can send the newsletter you asked for.

03What we share — and what we don't

We share the minimum needed to run the site: Pin Sheet signups with our email service so the newsletter can be delivered. There is no payment processor and no fulfilment partner in the picture, because we sell nothing. We do not run advertising pixels or third-party analytics on this site.

We don't sell your personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

04Cookies & pixels

This site uses no advertising pixels and no third-party analytics. If you create an account, a single sign-in cookie keeps you logged in. When you click a “Buy on Amazon” link, Amazon sets its own affiliate cookie to credit us for a qualifying purchase; that is governed by Amazon's privacy policy, not ours, and costs you nothing. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.

05Email

The Pin Sheet goes out on Sundays, only to people who signed up. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe that works immediately. No daily blasts, no fake countdown timers — that's a brand promise, not just a privacy one.

06How long we keep it

We hold no order or payment records at all — nothing is sold here. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe; account details until you ask us to delete them. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as they're useful for answering you, then deleted.

07Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely — any time, no reason required. Email [email protected] and we'll handle it within 30 days.

08Kids

This shop isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

09Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes get a heads-up in the Pin Sheet.
